Once Tesla Model 3s have proliferated our streets there is going to be an entire generation of morons causing accidents like this one because they don’t understand how Autopilot works or trust it too much. Mark my words.

I’ve never seen a plane auto pilot that stops at stoplights...

And while autopilot systems on modern airliners are pretty advanced autopilots have traditionally been quite dumb.

This is my whole point as to why naming it Auto Pilot was a marketing gimmick to purposely mislead people into think this thing was full on autonomy . People are dumb. They are going to think that they can just chill and the car will handle everything. Him running the light proves that.
